The bride and groom’s first dance at their wedding is an important occasion that needs to be commemorated. For this reason, you will need to choose a special song that has a good meaning on your relationship as a couple. When you do this, you will really be happy with the moment and it will translate into your dance.
So how do you choose a song to dance to? Here are some tips:
Find a song that you both find meaningful. Throughout your relationship, there might be a song that has been pretty significant to you both. Do you still remember the song that was playing when you had your first kiss? How about the moment when you both told each other how you feel? Try to remember what that song is so you can relate to it. That’s your song.
Compose a song. If you are a musician, you may compose a special song for your bride. This is a good way you can express how you feel and be truly unique about it. By doing this, your bride will appreciate the hard work you did to make a special song based on your relationship together.
Ask a band for some options. If you really can’t think of a song to play, you can ask the band that you hire for some suggestions. Since they have been playing songs for weddings, they will know a few ideas that you may use. Just remember to ask your bride about her opinion on the song too.
There are so many songs that you can use for your first dance together. When choosing one, make sure that it is special to you and your bride. This way, you will be able to dance beautifully to the song.

Recently, a viral video of a father-daughter dance has been the talk of several websites. The video shows a bride on her wedding day, and as she is about to have her first dance with her husband, when her brother announces that they prepared a surprise for her.
Apparently, the bride’s shy brother sang the song ‘Butterfly Kisses’ and was recorded for her to dance to. The song was memorable for their family because it was the same father-daughter dance that her older sister danced to during her own wedding. But since the father died earlier that year, the bride was unable to share this special moment with him.
Check out the video:
It really is a great song, especially for father-daughter dances. If this is something you would like to be played during your wedding, give us a call so we can arrange it.
